Today, the Maoist Rakeshwar Singh, who was taken hostage on Thursday, has finally been released by the Naxalites. On receiving his release information, there was an atmosphere of happiness in his house. His wife looked very happy during this period. In a conversation with the media, he thanked the government for this.

He also had a meeting with the Naxalite leader but refused to release the hostage soldier Rakeshwar Singh Manhas at that time.

It is worth mentioning that on 3 April in the Tarrem police station area of ​​Bijapur, there was a fierce encounter between the security forces and the Naxalites. In this, 24 security forces personnel were killed while 31 were injured. Rakeshwar Singh Manhas of CRPF was missing since the encounter.
