
Dantewada. A Naxal value three lakh rupees was killed in an encounter between police and Naxalites within the forests of Tumkapal in Dantewada district of Chhattisgarh.
In accordance with police sources, the Naxalites killed within the encounter that occurred final evening have been recognized as Lakhma Kawasi, resident of Kodopal police station Katekalyan district, a member of platoon quantity 31 of the banned Maoist group Darbha Division, Dantewada. A rustic-made pistol, 5 kg IED, Naxal uniform, pittu, wire, Naxal literature and each day helpful objects have been recovered from the encounter web site.
Superintendent of Police Sunil Sharma advised that the presence of about 10 to fifteen armed Naxalites of Katekalyan Space Committee was reported on the hills of the Katekalyan space of the police station. The Naxalites ambushed within the forest of village Tumkapal Arjalpara, the police get together began firing indiscriminately, in retaliation this Naxal was killed.
