‘Nehru family in danger’: Siddaramaiah said, government should provide security to Rahul Gandhi

Bengaluru: Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Wednesday stated that the Nehru household is in peril and it’s the duty of the Heart and Assam authorities to offer sufficient safety to Rahul Gandhi.

Earlier, BJP staff in Assam had disrupted Rahul Gandhi’s go to and the police have registered instances towards Rahul Gandhi and different Congress leaders on expenses of violence, incitement and harm to public property.

Chief Minister Siddaramaiah stated that BJP is intentionally creating issues for the Nyaya Yatra. “This is unconstitutional. A Chief Minister should not behave like this. We strongly condemn this,” he stated whereas talking to media individuals in Periyapatna.

The Chief Minister stated that regardless of writing letters to the Prime Minister and the Home Minister, they haven’t responded to the letter.

“The Constitution has given freedom to every citizen to march or protest against any government. And Rahul Gandhi has taken out the padyatra to understand the problems of the people of the country and find solutions to them,” the Chief Minister stated.

He stated that the Chief Minister of Assam was first in Congress after which turned the Chief Minister by becoming a member of BJP.

“He is doing this only to please Amit Shah and Modi. This is not only dereliction of duty but their security arrangements have also failed. Encouraging such things is unconstitutional,” the chief minister stated.

He stated that when he went to New Delhi and met Amit Shah, he assured to name a gathering on December 23 to launch the aid quantity, which has not been launched until date.

“The meeting was called and then adjourned for some reason. Recently when the Prime Minister visited the state, I brought this matter to his notice. Farmers are suffering due to drought and he has reminded them to release relief immediately,” the Chief Minister stated.

“We’ve got launched Rs 550 crore as far as aid to farmers within the first section. Efforts shall be made to ship the subsequent installment to all of the farmers throughout the subsequent one week.
