NIA arrests 10th accused in Amravati chemist’s killing

The Nationwide Investigation Company (NIA) has mentioned that they’ve arrested the tenth accused in reference to the killing of pharmacist Umesh Kolhe (54) in Amravati district of Maharashtra for allegedly supporting former BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma.
NEW DELHI: The Nationwide Investigation Company (NIA) has mentioned that they’ve arrested the tenth accused in reference to the killing of pharmacist Umesh Kolhe (54) in Amravati district of Maharashtra for allegedly supporting former BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma.

The accused has been recognized as 28-year-old Shaikh Shakeel.

An NIA official mentioned that the accused was arrested for his alleged function within the conspiracy involving the homicide of Kolhe. Shakeel performed an lively function within the conspiracy.

9 accused individuals had already been arrested in reference to the case.

Kolhe was murdered on June 21 after he wrote a Fb put up in assist of Sharma.

The central investigating company has added that the accused within the case could be having a global hyperlink.

The NIA had earlier carried out searches at 13 areas in Maharashtra, which led them to the restoration of incriminating paperwork.

In the course of the searches carried out on the premises of the accused and suspects, digital gadgets (cellphones, SIM playing cards, reminiscence playing cards, DVRs), pamphlets spreading hate messages, knives, and different incriminating paperwork and supplies had been seized.

The case was initially registered with Kotvali police station on June 22 and in a while the probe was taken over by the NIA on July 2.
