NEW DELHI: A stalemate is more likely to proceed in Parliament on Friday with the opposition persevering with with its demand for a JPC within the Hindenburg-Adani row, whereas the BJP will stick with it urgent for an apology from Congress chief Rahul Gandhi over his remarks made in London.

Opposition MPs will on Friday transfer suspension of enterprise notices within the Rajya Sabha and adjournment notices within the Lok Sabha on the Adani problem.

The Thursday assembly of the ground leaders on the Rajya Sabha Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar’s chamber in Parliament premises couldn’t finish the deadlock as either side remained inflexible on their calls for.

Dhankhar rejected the suspension of enterprise notices given by the members of the opposition on the demand of JPC within the Adani problem.

Following this, Leader of Opposition Mallikarjun Kharge stated that the stalemate can solely finish with the structure of the JPC.

On his half, Leader of the Home Piyush Goyal stated that Rahul Gandhi ought to apologize on his London assertion.

Dhankar stated either side are inflexible and will maintain a dialogue to finish the stalemate.
