Pakistan to take part in counter-terrorism exercise to be held in India: Foreign Office

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan will participate in an anti-terrorism train to be hosted by India below the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) in October, regardless of souring bilateral ties. This info was given in a media report on Saturday.

Based on the report of The Categorical Tribune newspaper, Pakistani and Indian troops have taken half in counter-terrorism workouts collectively, however this would be the first time that Pakistan will participate in such an train in India. On Friday, Pakistan International Workplace spokesman Asim Iftikhar was quoted by the newspaper as saying that Pakistan will take part within the worldwide counter-terrorism train to be held in October this 12 months below the Regional Anti-Terrorist Framework (RATS) of the SCO. “The exercise will be held in Manesar, India in October, and since Pakistan is a member, we will take part in it,” the spokesperson mentioned. It’s price noting that aside from India, Russia, China, Pakistan, Iran, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan may also take part on this train to be held in Manesar, Haryana.
