Permission Denied for Jellikattu: Tamil Nadu Protests in Krishnagiri; Stone pelting at Swift bus

Krishnagiri (Tamil Nadu)> Huge protest in Tamil Nadu’s Krishnagiri over the denial of permission to Jallikattu. The locals blocked the street and attacked the autos. The home windows of the KSRTC bus have been damaged within the stone pelting. Villagers of Krishnagiri Gobasandiram close to Hosur on the Karnataka border had approached the district administration searching for permission for Jallikattu. However permission was not given.

After that, there was an enormous protest within the space. Locals blocked the Chennai-Bengaluru street from six within the morning on Thursday. Then the autos have been attacked. A KSRTC Swift Gajaraja AC multi-axle sleeper bus touring from Thiruvananthapuram to Bengaluru was additionally pelted with stones. The home windows of the bus have been damaged by the stone pelting. There have been 21 passengers within the bus. The passengers escaped from the stone pelting by mendacity on the bottom contained in the bus.

Later the site visitors was restored by the police. Tear fuel was used to disperse the gang. The passengers have been taken to Attibale, the Bengaluru border and placed on different buses. KSRTC knowledgeable that the Thursday service of the bus to Thiruvananthapuram has been cancelled. In the meantime, Jellikattu was later given permission by the collector.
