Petrol, Diesel prices hiked again: Check latest rates in your city

New Delhi: Petrol and diesel prices will stall if they don’t know where to go. The ever-increasing prices by the oil companies have snatched the common man’s oil. In the country battling the Corona crisis, such a hit of inflation has increased the difficulties of the general public. Meanwhile, oil companies have once again increased the prices of petrol and diesel.

According to the price notification of the public sector petroleum companies, the price of petrol has been increased by 29 paise per liter and the price of diesel by 28 paise per liter. Now a liter of petrol is being sold in Delhi for Rs 95.85 and a liter of diesel for Rs 86.75. With this, petrol has now reached a historic high in different parts of the country. Petrol has crossed Rs 100 per liter in six states and union territories including Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Ladakh.

Petrol is currently selling at Rs 101.04 and diesel at Rs 94.15 per liter in Mumbai. Explain that Rajasthan levies the highest VAT on petrol and diesel in the country. It is followed by Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
