Pipe money sent to sabotage elections; Handed over by Dharmarajan

The BJP has launched a state-wide campaign to sabotage the Assembly elections. The money was brought to BJP office bearers in various parts of the state through RSS leader Dharmarajan. The hawala money was brought from Bangalore on the instructions of BJP state organizing secretary Ganesh and office secretary Girishan. The robbery took place at Kodakara while being handed over to Alappuzha District Treasurer K Gopalakrishnan (KG Kartha). Apart from this, the probe team said that the money was also sent to leaders in other districts. The police had recovered part of the money stolen by the party leaders themselves. This information is in the report filed in the Iringalakuda Magistrate’s Court against the petition filed by Dharmarajan seeking its recovery.

Dharmarajan also said that the money was brought illegally on the instructions of the BJP state office. State President K Surendran had said that Dharmarajan was a Supplyco distributor and only delivered election materials. No record of this has been produced in court or before the investigating team. The team also found the number of K Surendran’s son Harikrishnan among Dharmarajan’s first callers after the money laundering. Dharmarajan, who is involved in about 25 extortion cases, has also been found to be involved in money laundering in the commission system. The BJP office secretary arranged accommodation for Dharmarajan and his gang at the lodge. BJP district president KK Aneesh Kumar, treasurer Sujay Senan and regional secretary Kashinathan also reportedly threatened the fourth accused, Deepak, at the district committee office.
