District Officer Rajesh Narvekar informed reporters on Friday, “There are a complete of three,92,478 homes and 13 lakh non-public and authorities buildings in Thane limits. There are plans to hoist 17 lakh flags on these properties.” He stated that 21 actions have been deliberate within the district in view of the pageant.
Rupali Satpute, Chief Govt Officer, Thane Zilla Parishad (ZP), stated 7,500 college students have been appointed as ‘Tiranga Swayamsevaks’ and 80,000 college students as ‘Tricolor Ambassadors’ to convey the significance of hoisting the tricolor at properties.
