New Delhi | Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday remembered melody queen Lata Mangeshkar on her 93rd start anniversary and mentioned he was completely happy {that a} chowk in Uttar Pradesh’s Ayodhya has been named in her reminiscence. Lata Mangeshkar was born on 28 September 1929 in Indore to well-known musician Dinanath Mangeshkar. Modi mentioned, “I’m remembering Lata didi at this time on her start anniversary. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inaugurated a Chowk named after Lata Mangeshkar in Ayodhya within the presence of Union Tourism Minister G Kishan Reddy. The Lata Mangeshkar crossroads, situated on the banks of the Saryu river in Ayodhya, has been constructed at a price of Rs 7.9 crore. A 40 toes lengthy and 12 meters excessive Veena weighing 14 tons has been put in at this intersection.
