New Delhi | Aam Aadmi Party will help Yashwant Sinha, the opposition candidate within the presidential election. Rajya Sabha member Sanjay Singh made the announcement after a gathering of the celebration’s Political Advisory Committee (PAC) on Saturday. There’s a contest between Sinha and Draupadi Murmu within the presidential election. Murmu is the candidate of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led Nationwide Democratic Alliance.
“We respect Draupadi Murmu however AAP will help Yashwant Sinha, the opposition candidate. Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) nationwide convener and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia, Sanjay Singh, Rajya Sabha member Raghav Chadha, MLA Atishi and different members of the PAC attended the assembly.
Voting for the presidential election will happen on Monday.
Considerably, AAP is the one non-BJP, non-Congress celebration which has authorities in two states- Punjab and Delhi. It has 10 members in Rajya Sabha from each the states. The celebration has a complete of 152 MLAs. Of those, there are 92 MLAs in Punjab, 62 in Delhi and two in Goa.
