Presidential election: Pawar does not open his mind; BJP without taking a decision

NCP chief Sharad Pawar is more likely to be the joint opposition candidate within the presidential election. Mallikarjun Kharge, on behalf of the primary opposition Congress, made a direct request to Pawar to be the Presidential candidate.

The AAP, the Trinamool Congress and the Shiv Sena additionally agreed. The Left events don’t disagree both. However Pawar has not but opened his thoughts. The opposition hopes that the BJD will help Pawar. Kharge additionally met Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray, Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin.

Uncertainty stays over who would be the BJP’s presidential candidate. There are rumors that the candidate will likely be from the Dalit-Adivasi neighborhood. The BJP reckons that it may win by consolidating the NDA camp and uniting the YSRCP and BJD events. The BJP is anxious that Nitish Kumar’s JDU will pull the plug. The JD (U) has stated that the demand for Nitish’s candidature in Bihar is excessive however unlikely.
