New Delhi: The Supreme Court has criticized schools for going after profiteering. The Supreme Court has ruled that private schools should not charge fees for facilities not used by students.
It is also proposed to give a 15 per cent reduction in the annual fee. The Supreme Court said states have the power to impose restrictions. The order was passed by a bench headed by Justice AM Khanwilker.
The action was taken on a petition filed by private schools challenging the Rajasthan government’s decision to restrict school fees.
