Kolkata : A promoter was lynched on suspicion of a thief in Baruipur of South 24 Parganas district. The title of the deceased promoter is Abhik Mukhopadhyay (35). He was a resident of Netaji Nagar in Kolkata. In keeping with the police, Abhik had gone out on a motorbike late evening together with his bar dancer pal Priyanka Sarkar. At round 1 pm on Thursday evening, he alongside together with his pal Priyanka Sarkar had gone to 200 colony of Begumpur gram panchayat of Baruipur. There within the darkness of the evening, the villagers, seeing him on the suspicion of being a thief, thrashed Abhik, resulting from which he fainted on the spot itself. The police of Baruipur police station bought the information of the incident at round 2 pm. When the police reached the spot, the villagers stopped the police automobile and confirmed disturbance. Alleging towards the police, the villagers stated, they’ve come to ‘save the 4’. The police someway recovered Abhik from the spot and took him to Baruipur Division of Hospital the place medical doctors declared him introduced lifeless. After the police reached the spot, a villager introduced Priyanka Sarkar in entrance and stated, ‘This woman was hiding in our home.’ Right here, relating to this incident, Abhik’s members of the family and his buddies alleged that Abhik was murdered in a deliberate method. Right here, Priyanka’s mom claimed that her daughter is mentally unwell. Priyanka Sarkar has been taken into custody on this case.
