
Thiruvananthapuram: Protests are robust in Kerala in opposition to the Central Authorities’s army recruitment scheme, Agneepath, which contracts army service. The protests are being held within the capital Thiruvananthapuram and Kozhikode. Hundreds of staff are taking part within the protest. The youth marched from Thampanoor in Thiruvananthapuram to the Raj Bhavan, the official residence of the Governor.
The candidates demanded that the ‘Agneepath’ scheme needs to be withdrawn as quickly as attainable and the Military Mixed Entrance Examination needs to be carried out as quickly as attainable.
