Punjab elections: Modi targets AAP, calls Congress a ‘photocopy’

Pathankot. Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday hit out on the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in Punjab’s Pathankot, calling it a “photocopy” of the Congress.

Addressing an election rally in Pathankot, Modi stated if the Bharatiya Janata Party-led coalition involves energy within the state, it is going to be made helpful to agriculture, commerce and trade in 5 years.

Polling for the meeting elections in Punjab is to be held on February 20.
Modi stated, give me 5 years to serve you. I guarantee you that agriculture, commerce and trade shall be made worthwhile.

Attacking political opponents, he stated, “We look at Punjab from the point of view of Punjabiyat which is our priority.” Opponents have a look at Punjab by means of a political lens.

Referring to Sant Ravidas, Modi stated that his authorities follows the beliefs of the saint and for his authorities the welfare of the poor is above all the pieces else.
