
CHANDIGARH: The Punjab Vigilance Investigation Bureau arrested former state minister Sadhu Singh Dharamsot within the early hours of Tuesday on prices of corruption. Official sources gave this data. Dharamsot, who was the Social Welfare and Forest Minister within the earlier Congress-led authorities, was arrested from Amloh.
The transfer comes days after the arrest of District Forest Officer Gurmanpreet Singh and a contractor Harmider Singh Hammi in a corruption case. Sources mentioned there was data that each of them had offered particulars of alleged wrongdoings within the forest division when Dharamsot was minister.
