Rahul attacks PM Modi over dead bodies floating in river, ‘who said Ganga called him, he made Ganga mother cry’

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Saturday indirectly targeted Prime Minister Narendra Modi after he found several rotten corpses in the Ganges river in several cities of Uttar Pradesh, saying that Mother Ganga has called, cried. Rahul Gandhi tweeted in Hindi saying, “Whoever said Ganga called him, he made Ganga Maa cry”.

He also attached a news report which claimed that around 2,000 bodies were found on the 1,140 km long bank of the river Ganges. In the last few days, bodies have been found floating in the river or buried near its banks in several districts of Uttar Pradesh and Bihar.

At the same time, Congress spokesperson Randeep Surjewala tweeted, “2,000 corpses scattered all around, sighing life-shattering breaths, and .. the tears and cheering of Ganga Maiyya not stopping … who took the throne of UP wearing saffron. He is intoxicated with power, and … who used to say that he has been called by Ganga Mayya, he sat on the throne of Delhi and was laughing.

Let me tell you that hundreds of dead bodies have appeared on the banks of the Ganges in UP and Bihar for the past several days. Some bodies have come to the edges and some bodies have been buried in the shore.
