Thiruvananthapuram:Protests towards the disqualification of Congress chief Rahul Gandhi from Parliament continued for the second day on Saturday in Kerala’s Wayanad Lok Sabha constituency with indignant Congressmen burning Prime Minister Narendra Modi in effigy at Kalpetta.
Police had a tricky time controlling the protestors, who, led by social gathering MLA from Kalpetta (Wayanad) T.Siddique, tried to barge into the BSNL workplace.
At Kalpetta, the protests turned violent when indignant Youth Congress employees clashed with the police and after they have been being moved, agitators led by Siddique tried to cease them.
