Rahul: ‘Raja’ suspended MPs who questioned inflation and unemployment

New Delhi | Former Congress president Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday took a veiled assault on Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the difficulty of inflation and unemployment, alleging that “Raja arrested 57 MPs and suspended 23 MPs” for questioning these topics. He tweeted, “Why cylinder 1053 rupees? Why GST on curd-cereals? Why Mustard Oil Rs 200? Raja arrested 57 MPs and suspended 23 MPs for asking questions on inflation and unemployment.

Rahul Gandhi claimed, “The king is afraid of questions in the temple of democracy, but we know how to fight dictators.”
