
The federal government on Friday mentioned that the Railways has suffered a lack of Rs 259.44 crore through the agitation in opposition to the ‘Agneepath’ scheme. In a reply in Rajya Sabha, Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav mentioned that in 2022, Indian Railways suffered a lack of Rs 259.44 crore on account of loss or destruction of railway property.
