Railway's 'special loot' for Onam

Railways with extortionate fares for tickets in Onam particular trains. Tatkal ticket fare is charged in particular trains. The rise is Rs 100 to Rs 200 for sleeper ticket, Rs 125 to Rs 225 for AC chair automotive, Rs 300 to Rs 400 for AC three-tier and Rs 400 to Rs 500 for second AC.

Ernakulam–-Yelahanga Junction Particular (06101), Yelahanga–– Ernakulam Junction (06102), Tambaram––Kochuveli Weekly Particular(06035), Kochuveli–– Tambaram Weekly Particular(06153), Mangalore–– Kollam Particular (06047), Kollam– – Trains are Mangalore Particular (06048). Of those Tambaram–- Kochuveli and Kochuveli–Tambaram trains are AC. The speed can also be larger.

Tickets are presently not obtainable for any of those. Tatkal tickets are the one possibility. Second class tickets will probably be hiked by 10 % of the bottom fare and sleeper and AC tickets will probably be hiked by 30 %. Because of this, you must pay a median of Rs. 200 extra for a sleeper ticket. 600 rupees for AC three-tier and 800 rupees extra for second AC.

No Vandebharat

Railways determined to not run Vandebharat on Ernakulam-Bengaluru route. The choice was taken regardless of the letter given by the MPs.
