Jaipur. The Rajasthan government has taken another major decision on Friday afternoon amid rising cases of corona in Rajasthan. The examinations of all the universities of Rajasthan have been postponed due to Corona infection. There will not be examinations until the infection outbreak is over.
The state government has taken this decision due to the second and third wave of Corona. Higher Education Minister Bhanwar Singh Bhati has issued a statement saying that as per the instructions of the Chief Minister, examinations of all universities and colleges of the state including Rajasthan University have been postponed. This order will be applicable to government and private universities of the state. In view of the health of students, parents and professors, the government has taken this decision.
Significantly, the weekend curfew will start in the state from this evening. During this time a total bandh has been announced in the state. At the same time, cases of corona are increasing continuously. The state is currently at number 5 in terms of most cases.
