Dr. Faith Mehta on Monday
He will take oath as the Chief Election Commissioner of Kerala. He retired from the post of Chief Secretary of Kerala today. Mehta on Saturday hosted a luncheon in honor of Kerala Governor Arif Mohammad Khan and Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, who was also present on the occasion with his wife Preeti Mehta, father Dr. Pritam Kumar Mehta and other family members.
Dr. Vishwas Mehta will take oath of Chief Election Commissioner at Raj Bhavan in Kerala at 10 am on Monday.
Kerala Governor Arif Mohammad Khan will administer him the oath of this new constitutional post.
