Rajkot: 27 people died in an amusement park, 12 children among the dead

Not less than 27 individuals, together with kids, died in a large fireplace that broke out at a non-public amusement park/gaming zone TRP in Rajkot, Gujarat on Saturday afternoon. Officers mentioned TRP didn’t have a no objection certificates (NOC) from the fireplace division.
The state authorities mentioned in a press release that 27 our bodies have been delivered to the Rajkot Civil Hospital for autopsy. Many of the our bodies have been burnt, making it troublesome to establish them. “Their DNA samples are being collected for identification… The process of collecting DNA samples of family members is underway at the Rajkot Civil Hospital police station so that DNA matching can be done,” the assertion mentioned.
The federal government has constituted a Particular Investigation Crew (SIT) headed by Extra Director General of Police (CID-Crime) Subhash Trivedi to analyze the incident. The SIT includes Technical Education Commissioner Banchanidhi Pani, Gandhinagar-based Forensic Science Laboratory Director HP Sanghvi, Ahmedabad Chief Fireplace Officer JN Khadia and Roads and Buildings Division Superintending Engineer MB Desai. The SIT has been requested to submit a preliminary report inside three days and a remaining report inside 10 days.
A senior police officer mentioned that co-owner Yuvrajsinh Solanki and supervisor Nitin Jain have been detained. “We are also looking for another person associated with the gaming zone, Prakash Jain. He is said to be inside the premises when the fire broke out,” the officer mentioned.
