Recipe: You must have eaten cumin rice, casserole or biryani many times, but the taste of tamarind rice will be less tasty, so how to make tamarind rice?

So let’s know about the recipe for making tamarind rice …


-500 grams of rice
– One bowl ripe tamarind pulp
-A bowl of peanuts
Four green chillies (chopped)
– little curry leaves
Half bowl chopped coriander

-Five table spoon ghee
Half-Table Spoon Red Chili Powder
-A teaspoon cumin seeds
-Two pinch asafoetida
-A Table Spoon Urad Dal
-A teaspoon mustard seeds
-A tsp turmeric powder
– According to the salt taste

The way to make tamarind rice is as follows…

First of all, wash the rice well and prepare it in a simple way in the cooker. Add half a table spoon of salt and a few drops of desi ghee to it, while doing so, the rice will not stick. Toast the peanuts in ghee and keep them aside. Put the tamarind in the cooker and add water and boil till a whistle comes.

Remove the pulp when it cools down. Now heat the pan and add ghee, when hot, add urad dal, asafoetida and fry. Add mustard seeds and red chilli powder and turmeric and fry it. After this add chopped green chilies and add curry leaves and stir. Add tamarind pulp and cook.

When it comes to a boil, add the cooked rice little by little to the embroidery and keep stirring it together. When all the ingredients are mixed well with the rice, after that add fried peanuts and chopped coriander and keep stirring. After some time, your tamerind i.e. tamarind rice is ready. Now you can test it with pickle or curd.
