The state committee of the Railway Passengers Affiliation has demanded withdrawal of the large value hike on meals objects in trains and railway stations. It prices Rs 20 for a pazampori and Rs 95 for a meal from the canteens on the stations. Earlier it was 13 and 55 respectively. The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Company has issued an order growing the value.
State President Paravoor Sajeeb presided. Convenor J Gopakumar, TP Deepu Lal, Santhosh Rajendran, Rasaluddin, Nirmal Kumar and Ezhuwankot Raghunathan spoke within the assembly.
