
Mumbai The rupee on Thursday fell 12 paise to 77.74 towards the US greenback in early commerce on Thursday on account of steady outflow of international funds and a pointy fall within the home fairness market.
Within the interbank international alternate market, the rupee opened weak at 77.72 towards the US greenback, then declined additional to 77.74, indicating a weak spot of 12 paise over the earlier closing value.
On Wednesday, the rupee had closed 17 paise decrease at its new all-time low of 77.61 per greenback.
In the meantime, the greenback index, reflecting the US greenback’s place towards six main currencies, fell 0.15 per cent to 103.65. International oil benchmark Brent crude futures have been up 1.37 per cent at $110.61 per barrel.
