Kochi: The PMLA court has asked the state government to file a report on the letter issued by Sandeep Nair, the fourth accused in the case of Enforcement Directorate (ED) officials in the gold smuggling case. In a letter to the Ernakulam Sessions Court, Sandeep Nair said that ED officials had forced him to name the Chief Minister and some other ministers in the gold smuggling case.
The court will consider the chargesheet filed by the Enforcement Directorate in the money laundering case related to gold smuggling. PS Sarith, Sandeep Nair and Swapna Suresh, who are in jail, were produced through video conferencing. M Shivashankar did not appear in court.
