Bihar Police’s Further DGP Headquarters and Chief Spokesperson Jitendra Singh Gangwar mentioned, “We are probing Tuesday’s incident at Silao in Nalanda. During interrogation of accused Shubham Aditya, it appeared that he had run away from home a few days ago. His family members lodged a complaint with Islampur police station. Later he himself returned home.”

Gangwar mentioned, “The FSL team was also sent to Silao for testing. They have collected the samples and sent them to the laboratory for a detailed report. Preliminary investigation suggests that it was a firecracker. The district police arrested him.” A firecracker, matches and key ring have been recovered from the possession.
