Senior CPI leader NK Kamalasanan has passed away

Kuttanad: NK Kamalasanan, a senior CPI chief, freedom fighter and writer, has died on the age of 92. He was the General Secretary of the Travancore Agrarian Employees Union, a member of the Minimal Wages Committee, the District Secretary and President of the Kottayam District Agrarian Employees Federation and a member of the State Govt Committee of the Agrarian Employees Federation.

Krishnan was born on January 26, 1930, within the village of Kannadi, Pulinkunnu, Kuttanad, the son of a child woman.
