Chennai > A 70-year-old priest has been arrested for sexually assaulting youngsters who have been taking part in in a temple yard in Tamil Nadu. Tilagar, a local of Theni, was arrested. The incident passed off on the Bhagavathy Amman temple in Theni Periyakulam.
Whereas the kids have been taking part in within the courtyard, the priest known as the kids inside saying that he would give them sweets. The youngsters stated that he tried to sexually assault the lady and ran away from the temple. The lady then knowledgeable her mother and father.
When the knowledgeable mother and father, family members and farmers reached the temple, the priest closed the door and stayed inside. He was later launched by the police. On the grievance filed by the kid's mother and father, the Periyakulam Vadakkarai police registered a case and recorded the arrest of Pujari. The accused was remanded for 15 days.
