SFI race at Kerala University; Union in 64 out of 67 campuses

Thiruvananthapuram: SFI has gained the school union elections beneath Kerala University. Out of 67, 64 campuses have been ruled by the SFI Union. The SFI union will rule over 30 out of 32 campuses in Thiruvananthapuram district. SFI recovered Union KSU from Iqbal School and Sree Sankaracharya Vidyapeem School, Nagaroor within the district.

In Kollam district, SFI has gained 17 out of 18 schools. Kottarakkara St. Gregorios School was recaptured from KSU and Chathannoor SN School was recaptured by SFI from KSU and ABVP alliance. In Alappuzha district, the SFI gained 15 out of 15 seats. The SFI recaptured St. Michael’s School, Alappuzha from KSU and Sri Ayyappa School from ABVP. In Pathanamthitta, SFI gained in two out of two locations. Earlier, the SFI had gained unopposed in 39 schools even after the submission of nomination papers.

The election was held beneath the slogan ‘Robust Democracy, Preventing School’. KSU, ABVP and different pupil organizations collectively competed in lots of campuses. State President VA Vineesh and Secretary KM Sachin Dev MLA greeted the scholars who gave SFI a historic victory within the Kerala University School Union elections.
