Kolkata: The announcement of the results has created unrest across the state. All the opposition parties in the state are blaming the ruling party Trinamool for the situation. Meanwhile, the Union Home Ministry has called for a report from the state government. However, there was no response from the grassroots. On the other hand, Trinamool supremo Mamata Banerjee yesterday pointed the finger of blame at the counter-BJP, saying that the BJP was showing violence by showing old pictures.

This time Shantanu Tagore, a BJP MP from Bangaon and a member of the Tagore family, was vocal about this. He came live on Facebook and vented his anger on the grassroots and the state administration. He also called upon the BJP workers and supporters to unite against this chaos. Shantanu Tagore also said that even though we have won in Bangaon, a class of people are oppressing our activist supporters.

Shantanu Tagore has blamed a particular community for the incident. He said that Hindu houses were being looted and tortured selectively. Shantanu Tagore also said that if immediate action is not taken against it, riots could spread across the state. He also appealed to top BJP leaders, including BJP all-India president JP Nadda, to take oaths across the country on the day of Mamata Banerjee’s swearing-in.
