Shikha Chauhan became the ‘Rapid Queen’ for the second time in the International White Water Kayaking Championship; Amit Thapa wins ‘Rapid Raja’ title

Kozhikode: Shikha Chauhan, a local of Madhya Pradesh, turned the fast queen for the second time within the Worldwide White Water Kayaking Championship after preventing in opposition to the raging river. The ‘Fast Raja’ is 22-year-old Amit Thapa from Uttarakhand.

19-year-old Shikha was the ‘fast queen’ of white water kayaking in 2019. The primary place within the slalom, boater cross and down river tremendous finals of the kayaking championship made Shikha the queen of the championship.

 

 Two matches have been held on the ultimate day of the championship

Excessive Slalom Intermediate and Down River Time Trial Skilled competitions have been held on the ultimate day of the Worldwide White Water Kayaking Championship held as a part of the eighth Malabar River Competition.

  • Amit Thapa (22) gained first place, Arjun Singh Rawat (17) gained second place and Amar Singh (19) gained third place in Down River Time Trial Skilled Males’s class.

 

  • Shikha Chauhan (19), Priyanka Rana (20), Naina Adhikari (22), and Naina Adhikari (22) bagged the third place within the Down River Time Trial Skilled Ladies class.

 

  • Yathart Ghairola (23) gained the primary place within the Excessive Slalom Intermediate Males’s class. Nawal Saini (40) acquired second place and Anak Chauhan (14) acquired third place.

 

  • Sania Batam (16) gained the Xtreme Slalom Intermediate girls’s class competitors. Ann Mathias (42) is second and Mansi Batam (14) is third.
