He stated, “We now have proposed to construct a 60 km lengthy city tunnel, which can create an east-west and a north-south hall inside the metropolis, connecting main arterial roads and bypassing floor visitors.
“The estimated value of the undertaking is Rs 30,000 crore, Rs 500 crore per km. The city tunnel might be underground, saving floor area and aesthetics. For the reason that deliberate undertaking will join NH7 to NH14, it may be undertaken by the Authorities of Karnataka in collaboration with NHAI and the mandatory funds may be allotted to each the Authorities of Karnataka and NHAI from the Union Price range.
