Six killed in mass stabbing in Sydney mall, attacker shot

Sydney: Six individuals have been stabbed to loss of life in Sydney's jap suburbs on Saturday by an attacker who was later shot lifeless by police.

Based on New South Wales Police, emergency providers have been responded to Westfield in Bondi Junction, a serious delivery hub in Sydney, at about 3.30pm (native time) on Saturday after reviews that a number of individuals had been stabbed.

“An officer attached to the Eastern Suburbs Police Area Command was allegedly confronted by a man with a knife. The man allegedly attacked the officer before he was shot dead,” police stated in an announcement. “

It was later confirmed that the person had fatally shot six individuals earlier than being shot. Native media reported that seven different individuals have been severely injured.

Australian Prime Minister Anthony wrote, “I have been briefed by the AFP (Australian Federal Police) about the devastating events at Bondi Junction. Sadly, many casualties are reported and the first thoughts of all Australians go out to those affected and Are with their loved ones.” Albanese on X.

“Our hearts go out to those injured and we thank those caring for them, as well as our brave police and first responders,” Albanese stated in one other submit.
