According to the case, the accused swindled Rs 42.7 lakh from Abdul Majeed’s house and office at St. Vincent’s Colony Fajr House, Nadakkavu, Kozhikode, on the pretext of providing solar panels. In Kozhikode, Kannur, Malappuram and Wayanad districts, there were complaints that Team Solar had offered to participate in the franchise and Palakkad windmill project and extorted money.
