The minister warned the putting employees to return to work or lose their jobs. He mentioned that 1,332 contract employees have been dismissed and 1,000 have been warned for failing to return to work. Power Minister Sharma met Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and briefed him in regards to the present energy scenario in view of the strike.
Until Saturday night, 2,392 MW energy was generated, which is 17 per cent of the whole demand of 13,856 MW. The shutdown of the 1,000 MW Obra plant, 1,130 MW Anpara plant and 210 MW Parichha plant resulted in no energy technology. Harduaganj energy technology heart can also be going to be closed in help of the strike.
