Technical fault in IndiGo’s Delhi to Vadodara flight, emergency landing made in Jaipur

Indigo’s flight from Delhi to Vadodara was safely diverted to Jaipur as a precaution after engine failure. The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has ordered an inquiry on this regard. Officers probing the matter mentioned that some vibration was felt within the engine for a second. After which the pilots determined to divert the flight in the direction of Jaipur as a precaution. Allow us to let you know that IndiGo’s Airbus A320 took off from Delhi to Vadodara at 7.30 pm.

Flight was diverted as a result of engine failure

An IndiGo spokesperson mentioned, “IndiGo flight 6E-859 operating between Delhi and Vadodara was diverted to Jaipur on July 14. On the way a warning message was given to the pilot. As a precaution, the pilot diverted the aircraft to Jaipur for further investigation. Passengers have made accommodation in alternate aircraft for their onward journey.
