Kolkata After the opening of Kolkata’s Kalighat and Mayapur temples, in view of the decreasing graph of Corona, Dakshineswar temple has also been opened for devotees from Thursday i.e. today. It has been started on the day of Jagannath Snan Yatra. The temple will remain open from 7 am to 11 am and from 3 pm to evening aarti, where only 20 people will be allowed to enter the temple at a time. It will be mandatory for the devotees to follow the corona protocol. They will have to follow social distancing, wear masks and get thermal screening done before entry. There will be a ban on gathering crowd in the temple premises, which will be monitored by police personnel, although still nothing has been decided in the direction of opening the Belur Math on the other side of Dakshineswar. It is noteworthy that with the announcement of the lockdown, the doors of the Dakshineswar temple were also closed for the devotees from June 15, although the priests of the temple were carrying out the tradition of worship of the mother, Bhog and Sandhya Aarti.
