The governor is returning to Nandigram from Kochbihar to stand by the victims of violence.

Kolkata: State Governor Jagdeep Dhankar has been seen speaking out more than once about post-poll violence. He has been seen repeatedly making statements against the ruling party on this issue. He also visited Kochbihar on Thursday to investigate the post-poll violence. Then on Friday he left Kochbihar directly for Assam. In Assam’s Dhubri district, where BJP workers and supporters have taken refuge, he spoke to the homeless.

After visiting Kochbihar-Assam, Governor Dhankar has decided to go to Nandigram this time. He is going to Nandigram, the most heavyweight center in the Ekushey election, to look into allegations of post-poll violence. Let me tell you, even though Shuvendu Adhikari won from Nandigram center, allegations of atrocities against BJP workers at that center have been leveled against the Trinamool.

Jagdeep Dhankar is going to Nandigram by BSF helicopter on Saturday morning. There he will visit multiple areas. He will also visit Janakinath Temple. There he will return to Calcutta on Saturday with pujo.
