ItFolk, the thirteenth Worldwide Theater Competition of Kerala organized beneath the auspices of Sangeetha Nataka Academy, has began. Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan inaugurated the drama competition on-line on the Academy Pavilion Theatre. Minister Saji Cherian presided. Sangeetha Natak Academy Chairman Mattannur Shankarankutty delivered the introductory speech. Actor Prakashraj delivered the keynote tackle.
The competition bulletin was launched by minister Okay Rajan and the competition t-shirt by district panchayat president PK Davis. Competition Bag Minister Dr. R Bindu and the competition e book had been launched by TN Pratapan MP. Sangeetha Nataka Academy Vice Chairperson Pushpavathi Poippadath, Collector Haritha V Kumar, P Balachandran MLA and Mayor MK Varghese acquired it respectively. Sahitya Akademi President Okay Sachidanandan, Lalitha Kala Academy Chairman Murali Cheeroth, Competition Directorate members Anuradha Kapoor, B Ananthakrishnan, Deepan Sivaraman and Taiwanese representatives Robert and Anison Chao spoke. Karivellur Murali, secretary of Sangeetha Natak Academy, welcomed and John Fernandes, member of the manager committee, gave the vote of thanks. Beneath the management of Mattannur Shankarankutty, 101 artists lined up for the ItFolk competition.
