Tightened security arrangements for Friday prayers in Uttar Pradesh, Section 144 implemented in Kanpur and Lucknow

The ADG mentioned that particular deployment has been made in delicate districts together with Firozabad, Shamli, Saharanpur, Moradabad, Agra, Ayodhya, Varanasi, Gorakhpur, Kanpur and Lucknow. The ADG mentioned that 12 firms of the Provincial Armed Constabulary (PAC) are already tenting in Kanpur, whereas some firms have been despatched to delicate districts.

Tight safety preparations have been made in Kanpur with the deployment of 12 firms of PAC, three further IPS officers and two firms of Speedy Motion Force.
