History of Yoga Day: In his very first term, Prime Minister Narendra Modi offered to celebrate International Yoga Day. In 2014, after PM Modi’s appeal in the speech of the United Nations General Assembly on 27 September, the US passed a resolution to celebrate it. Then within about 90 days, the resolution of International Yoga Day was passed in 177 countries.
First Yoga Day: International Yoga Day was celebrated for the first time all over the world on 21 June 2015 in which about 36,000 people participated. In addition, representatives of about 84 countries also performed 21 asanas of yoga. Yoga has played an important role in staying healthy in this corona period. In such a situation, it would not be wrong to say that in the present time people have more interest in yoga and people are adopting it widely.
