CPI-M state secretary Kodiyeri Balakrishnan's second demise anniversary can be noticed on Tuesday. State-wide applications have been organized to commemorate Kodiyeri, who has finished glorious work as a CPI-M Politburo member, state secretary, minister and patriotic chief editor.
At 8.30 a.m. wreath laying at Smriti Mandapam at Payyambalam in Kannur. Politburo member Brenda Karat and state secretary MV Govindan will take part. Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan will unveil Kodiyeri's bronze statue at 11.30 am at Kodiyeri Muliilanda's home. Brenda Karat will inaugurate the general public assembly at 4.30 pm.
