Today, Kovid has cured 3377 out of 1780 patients

Thiruvananthapuram: Kovid-19 has been confirmed for 1780 people in Kerala today. Kozhikode 265, Malappuram 205, Thrissur 197, Thiruvananthapuram 165, Ernakulam 154, Kollam 153, Kannur 131, Kottayam 127, Alappuzha 97, Pathanamthitta 76, Palakkad 67, Kasaragod 66, Wayanad 41 and Idukki 36 districts were diagnosed with the disease today.

Kovid-19 was confirmed within the last 24 hours by a man from the UK. With this, 101 people from the UK (99) and South Africa (2) have recently been confirmed for Kovid-19 so far. Of these, 85 tested negative. A total of 11 people were diagnosed with the genetically modified virus.

52,134 samples were tested during the last 24 hours. The test positivity rate is 3.41. Routine sample, Sentinel sample, CBNAT, TRUNAT, POCT. PCR, RT A total of 1,21,82,285 samples have been sent for testing so far, including LAMP and antigen testing.

Today, it has been confirmed that 14 deaths in the last few days are due to Kovid-19. This brings the total death toll to 4369.

Today, 53 of those diagnosed with the disease are from outside the state. 1579 people were infected through contact. Contact source for 139 is not clear. Kozhikode 259, Malappuram 194, Thrissur 191, Thiruvananthapuram 113, Ernakulam 143, Kollam 147, Kannur 94, Kottayam 118, Alappuzha 96, Pathanamthitta 68, Palakkad 24, Kasaragod 57, Wayanad 41 and Idukki 34 were affected by contact.

Nine health workers were affected. Health workers from Kannur 3, Ernakulam 2, Kottayam, Thrissur, Palakkad and Kozhikode 1 each were affected.

The test results of 3377 people who were diagnosed and treated were negative. Thiruvananthapuram 130, Kollam 663, Pathanamthitta 243, Alappuzha 253, Kottayam 36, Idukki 80, Ernakulam 623, Thrissur 245, Palakkad 64, Malappuram 204, Kozhikode 373, Wayanad 106, Kannur 302 and Kasaragod 55 had negative results today. With this, 32,174 people have been diagnosed with the disease and are still undergoing treatment. 10,50,603 people have been released from Kovid so far.

There are currently 1,57,589 people under surveillance in various districts of the state. Of these, 1,52,760 are under home / institutional quarantine and 4,829 are under observation in hospitals. A total of 496 people were admitted to the hospital today.

Today there are 4 new hotspots. No area is excluded from the hotspot. There are currently a total of 351 hotspots.
