Two youths arrested with illegal weapons in Amherst Street.

Kolkata : Police have arrested two youths with unlawful weapons from Vrindavan Mallik Avenue and Amherst Avenue crossing beneath Amherst Avenue Police Station. The names of the accused are Abhijit Kumar Singh and Gaurav Singh. Of those, Abhijeet is a resident of Jamui and Gaurav Okay C Sen Avenue in Bihar. A single shutter and three cartridges have been recovered from the accused. In response to the knowledge, the police staff had obtained secret data that some youths had been smuggling unlawful weapons within the space. On the premise of the above data, the police staff raided and caught two youths using bikes. On search of the accused, a single shutter and cartridges had been discovered from their possession. The accused couldn’t produce any legitimate doc concerning the weapon. Thus he was arrested. At current, the police is interrogating the accused to search out out from the place they acquired the weapons and to whom they had been going to produce them.
