Edakara> LDF’s no-confidence movement in opposition to Chungathara panchayat president handed. Vatsamma Sebastian, the previous UDF president, was ousted in a no-confidence movement.
The 20-member governing council had 10 members every from the UDF and the LDF. Eleven members voted in favor of no-confidence and 9 in opposition to. Chungathara Panchayat Ward 14 Kalakunnu Unbiased Member Najmunnisa solid her vote of no confidence in opposition to the President. The no-confidence movement was debated on the Panchayat Corridor on Monday morning.
